Funds Focused on Closing the Loop Between Advocate Marketing & ROI
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Dynamic Signal, industry leader in employee advocacy solutions, announced that it has closed a USD $12M million Series C financing round led by new lead investor Rembrandt Venture Partners as well as existing investors, Venrock, Trinity Ventures, Time Warner Ventures and Cox Enterprises, who continue to see value in the company based on feedback from clients and prospects, and an impressive amount of traction over the last 18 months. This brings the total amount of venture capital the company has raised to over USD $33M million. The funds are being used to expand their efforts as well as acquire PaperShare, an innovative player that ties content marketing efforts more directly to lead generation and sales.
Today’s announcement comes at a time in which employee advocacy platforms are increasingly becoming a vital resource for businesses looking to bridge all parts of an organization from social media, social selling, corporate communications, and brand efficacy.
“In the past year, we’ve seen a sea change in how businesses view advocacy efforts and the engagement that the employee base can drive,” explains Russ Fradin, co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Signal. “With more than 80 percent of email being opened on phones and tablets, creating one-touch solutions that allow employees to conveniently consume and share brand approved content is now essential.
Dynamic Signal has delivered billions of valuable impressions across social channels for brands such as Hitachi Data Systems, Salesforce, Deloitte, IBM, and Gamestop. The ability to leverage an engaged group of brand advocates has been incredibly effective for these companies, as well as many others in some of the more regulated industries such as technology, finance, and healthcare.
“What Dynamic Signal has built is an incredibly intuitive technology platform that builds on and leverages the trust that exists between employee advocates and their audiences,” explains Scott Irwin, General Partner from Rembrandt Venture Partners. “That trust between peers is key, as consumers are much more likely to respond to an authentic post from a friend than an advertisement from a company.
Dynamic Signal Acquires PaperShare
Dynamic Signal will be leveraging a portion of the funding effort to complete the acquisition of PaperShare, closing the loop among employee advocacy, content marketing and overall ROI from these marketing programs.
Alongside other enterprise level integrations such as AdobeSocial and Bitly, the addition of PaperShare gives Dynamic Signal an even greater breadth and ability to lead the category. Dynamic Signal now provides insights from objective to outcome, with the premiere toolset necessary to track through the entire funnel of awareness, engagement, and sales.
