NEW YORK – Xaxis, the world’s largest audience buying company, announced the promotion of Paul Dolan to senior vice president, global business development. Dolan previously served as managing director, North America and has played a key role at Xaxis since the company’s debut, leading growth efforts across the U.S. and Canada. Paul’s leadership has helped establish Xaxis North America as the dominant player in the multi-billion dollar audience and programmatic buying industry.

In the newly created SVP position, Dolan will oversee an expanded portfolio of operations with responsibility for guiding all new business and client development strategies in markets around the world. This encompasses the 26 countries in which Xaxis currently operates as well as helping to launch additional locations. The role builds upon his work as managing director, North America, where he led account management, trading, publisher relations and partnerships in the region and was instrumental in developing robust operations in Canada, launching the company’s Latin America presence and establishing a direct-to-advertiser business.

Prior to Xaxis, Dolan served as vice president of strategy and operations at the Media Innovation Group (MIG), a WPP Company. At the MIG, he played a lead role in the development, launch and expansion of the company’s B3 media optimization service, the first demand-side digital trading business. He previously spent nine years at WPP’s 24/7 Real Media (now 24/7 Media) working across a number of products including Open AdStream, DecideDNA and the Global Web Alliance. He has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematical Science, Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
