G5 Search Marketing Ranks No. 146 With Three-Year Sales Growth of 1,208.5%
NEW YORK – Inc. magazine ranked G5 Search Marketing No. 146 on its 28th annual Inc. 500, an exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The company was ranked No. 17 in the Advertising and Marketing category.
The Inc. 500 represents the most comprehensive look at the most important segment of the economy — America’s independent-minded entrepreneurs. Companies such as Microsoft, Zappos, Intuit, GoDaddy, Under Armour, Jamba Juice, American Apparel, Oracle, and hundreds of other powerhouses gained early exposure as members of the Inc. 500.
“If you want to know which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most dynamic, fast-growth companies in the nation, the ones finding innovative solutions to problems, creating smart systems, and inventing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”
G5 Search Marketing is based in Bend, Oregon. The five-year-old company was recently named one of Oregon Business Magazine’s 100 Best Companies to Work For and Entrepreneur of the Year.
In addition to its significant sales growth, G5 has posted major client wins in the verticals it serves – becoming the leader in Local Marketing Management applications. Co-founded by CEO Dan Hobin and COO Greg Meier, the company has grown from two to more than 50 employees and anticipates continued job growth through 2009. G5’s client base has tripled in the past year, and the company now serves more than 1,700 client locations throughout the U.S. and Canada. G5 has also expanded its Local Marketing Platform to include a Print Yellow Pages Analytics Tool, G5 Mobile Coupons and Social Media Advertising with several more important product additions expected by the end of 2009.
“G5 is proud to be able to serve our target industries and provide the best local media management solution on the planet,” said G5 CEO Dan Hobin. “We appreciate the Inc. 500 accolade – and we’re lucky to be in a growing industry with a strong team to help us succeed.”
